Coenzyme Q10

Additional information

Product Details

Coenzyme Q10 is most commonly used for conditions that affect the heart such as heart failure, chest pain, and high blood pressure. It is also used for preventing migraine headache, Parkinson’s disease, and many other conditions. Coenzyme Q10 was first identified in 1957. The “Q10” refers to the chemical make-up of the substance.
Coenzyme Q10, the other name is Co Q10,  not only provides power to the heart, but also has excellent anti-oxidation and free radical scavenging functions. It can prevent lipid peroxidation in the blood vessel wall and prevent atherosclerosis without any side effects. The specific role can be reflected in the following four aspects:

1 help protect the heart Coenzyme Q10 helps to provide adequate oxygen to the heart muscle, to prevent sudden heart disease, especially in the process of myocardial hypoxia, coenzyme Q10 plays a key role in improving.

2 protect the skin Long-term use of Coenzyme Q10 can effectively prevent skin aging and reduce facial wrinkles.

3 Anti-fatigue Coenzyme Q10 keeps the cells in a healthy state, so the body is full of energy, energetic and full of brain power. The biological activity of coenzyme Q10 is mainly derived from the redox characteristics of its anthracene ring and the physicochemical properties of its side chain. It is a natural antioxidant and cell metabolism promoter produced by the cell itself. It has the function of protecting and restoring the structure of the biofilm and stabilizing the membrane potential. It is a non-specific immunopotentiator of the body and thus shows excellent anti-fatigue effect.

4 anti-cancer anti-cancer research shows that coenzyme Q10 has anti-tumor effect, clinically has a certain effect on advanced metastatic cancer.

Benefits & Applications of Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is an important vitamin-like substance required for the proper function of many organs and chemical reactions in the body. It helps provide energy to cells. Coenzyme Q10 also seems to have antioxidant activity. People with certain diseases, such as heart failure, high blood pressure, gum disease, Parkinson’s disease, certain diseases of the muscles, and HIV infection, might have lower levels of coenzyme Q10.
Preventing death due to heart problems. Some research suggests that taking coenzyme Q10 along with selenium might reduce the chance of heart-related death in the elderly.

Heart failure. Early research found that heart failure might be linked to low coenzyme Q10 levels. Some research shows that taking coenzyme Q10 might help reduce some symptoms of heart failure. Coenzyme Q10 might also reduce the chances of having an abnormal heart rhythm related to heart failure. Some research suggests it works best in people who are not taking conventional medications for heart failure, such as an ACE inhibitor.

HIV/AIDS. Taking coenzyme Q10 by mouth seems to improve immune function in people with HIV/AIDS.

Anti-Cancer. Low coenzyme Q10 levels seem to be linked with an increased risk of skin cancer. Early research suggests that taking coenzyme Q10 along with other antioxidants increases survival time by 40% in patients with terminal cancer. Higher-quality studies are needed to confirm these results.
